| WEEKEND ENTERTAINMENT Friday 9/30/2011 "Black Water Jam" Saturday 10/1/2011 "DJ Denny" Since the Apple Festival was canceled last weekend, we will be accepting monetary donations for flood relief that occurred in our community a few weeks ago. If you would like to make a donation, please place your donation in an envelope marked "flood relief" and give it to one of our bartenders. If you are writing a check, please make your check payable to: American Legion Post 143. We will make sure your donation reaches those who desperately need it. Laurie Frizzi, President, Auxiliary Unit 143, will have a table set up in the Post this Friday beginning at 4pm. You will be able to renew your Auxiliary dues and receive your 2012 membership card "on the spot". The Auxiliary will also be doing a fundraiser to help with our local flood relief efforts. Mark your calendar for October 28th. The Auxiliary's Annual "Halloween Bash" will be held from 8pm until midnight. The Auxiliary will be awarding cash prizes for those in costume. There will be three areas of judging: Best Couple, Funniest and Most Original. Last year we set off the fire alarms and were paid a visit by our local law enforcement officers and fire fighters. (DJ Denny went nuts with the fog machine.) Stop by. I know you will enjoy yourselves. I will be the one dressed up like the manager!!!!! See you Friday night.
